The 2019 documentary film, Bikram: Yogi, Guru, Predator dives into the rise and fall of Bikram Choudhury, the founder of a style of yoga known as Bikram yoga. The Race: How To Build A Quantum Computer is a 2019 American documentary film directed by David Kleijwegt. This is more than any other US TV network and as a result, the company raised their prices for the US and foreign users. Netflix has high hopes and ambitions, though, which was shown earlier this year when it stated it would spend $6.5 billion on programming in 2016. Some of the shows we can expect to see in 2017 on Netflix include One Day at a Time, Gypsy, Wheelman, Llama Llama, Watership Down and Dark. Landgraf initially predicted a decline in the production of shows in 2017 but has now said that it won’t happen until at least 2019. (Honorable mentions also go out to: Casting JonBenet, The Challenge, Contemporary Color, Dawson City: Frozen Time, I Called Him Morgan, Jane, Last Men in Aleppo. This is mainly down to streaming services like Netflix and Amazon due to the speed at which they can release new content. The FX president John Landgraf estimated that 2016 would be the year to hit ‘peak TV’ but recently said 2017 would have more TV shows than this year. That’s the question filmmakers set out to answer in The Keepers, a 2017 Netflix documentary that looked at the murder of a nun and the secrets and cover-ups that lurked from her death. That list is about to get longer as Netflix will introduce 71 new Original shows in 2017 and that doesn’t even include kids’ series, documentaries, movies and non-English shows.
