![]() It’s quite spicy so I like to add some milk to it. The Bengal Spice basically tastes like chai tea and it naturally has some sweetness to it. The flavor of this is also very potent, which is nice. I’ve used chai teabags before where the colour isn’t nearly as rich. It’s a very dark, almost amber-like colour, which I love. Bengal Spice The packaging is gorgeous and this one appealed to me because it reminded me so much of a mural I saw when I went street art hunting, which you can see here in one my previous posts. Price: I got each of these on sale for $2.97 from Superstore. All the teabags are placed in a resealable wax package. They’re also very eco-friendly and don’t individually wrap their teabags in packets or have any staples or strings attached, which I like because it’s more convenient for me to not worry about removing them if I were to steep multiples at a time. Packaging: First of all, can we just talk about the packaging details? I love how they have mini facts printed on the flaps. ![]() I’ve also included tea “swatches” (yes I made that term up), so you can see how the teas look like after they’ve been steeped. ![]() I will be reviewing three of the tea boxes I picked up, all of which are decaffeinated (also suitable for drinking before bedtime): Bengal Spice, Sleepytime Vanilla, and Fruit Sampler. I also found out they have cups and tins with the illustrations on them, one of which is a holiday sugar cookie collectible tin that I really want but sadly I can’t find any of the holiday teas here in Canada (since they place it in some of the tea boxes). They’re very flavorful and I love their vividly-coloured packaging with the whimsical illustrations. I’ve always passed by Celestial Seasonings tea in the grocery aisle but never thought to pick them up until recently and I’ve gotta say, I really like them.
